Microsoft Build Conference Highlights

Microsoft’s 2014 Build Developer Conference was held in San Francisco from April 2-4. Highlights include Windows 8.1 Update 1 with its new Start Menu (left), Windows Phone 8.1, a touch-first version of Office, the promotion of HTML 5 for developing apps, a future of universal apps for all Microsoft systems, the new Windows for IoT (Internet of Things), and news of free OEM Windows for devices with a screen size of nine inches or less.

Apple WWDC Set for June

MS Office Comes to Chrome

Microsoft is going all-out with its multi-platform, cloud-based strategy.
